Crane shot

A crane shot is used when the camera itself moves up or down and is usually placed higher above the ground. The camera rises and lowers on a platform connected to a mechanical arm( shown on the video). The crane helps the camera to travel great distances up and down, as well as forwards and backward and side to side.
