Inspiration behind the opening sequence

The main inspiration for our opening sequence is the film 'P.S I Love You' as the film also involves a woman losing someone she loves. However, the film is different to our oepning sequence as the plot is much different and in the film she loses her husband and in our's the main character, Lucy, loses her sister, Charlie. Also, we chose to base our opening sequence around the film as the film is the type of film most teenage girls watch and we wanted our film to be aimed at teenage girls. Both the film and our opening sequence are films people, typically teenage girls, would cry over.
